New Phyrexia

New Phyrexia is the third set in the Scars of Mirrodin block and is the fifty-sixth Magic expansion. It will be released on May 13, 2011. The entire set was suprisingly spoiled on April 19, 2011 almost a month before it will be released.

Set Details

New Phyrexia concludes the story that began in Scars of Mirrodin, with the Phyrexians defeating the Mirrans and taking control of the plane of Mirrodin. Cards are again watermarked with either factions symbol, but the ratio is significantly favoring Phyrexia. This showcases the progress of the Phyrexian invasion and is a reversal from the ratio as it was seen in Scars of Mirrodin. In a similar fashion, the Phyrexian keyword mechanics of Infect and Proliferate spread into colors that did not get cards with these mechanics before.
Just like Mirrodin Besieged before it, New Phyrexia features a cycle of Basic Lands, used to showcase the transformation of Mirrodin's landscape during the Phyrexian take-over in the artwork.
Originally, Wizards of the Coast announced that the set would be called either Mirrodin Pure or New Phyrexia, as they did not wish to reveal which of the factions would win. On March 29, 2011, it was announced that the new set would in fact be called New Phyrexia.
The promotional card given to participants at the Prerelease tournaments will be Sheoldred, Whispering One, one of the five powerful Phyrexian praetors.

Marketing cards

Boosters of New phyrexia come with a bonus sixteenth card that is either a "tips & tricks card" or a creature token from New Phyrexia or a poison counter token. One face of the New Phyrexia bonus card has one of five different rules tips or is one of 4 different creature tokens or a poison counter token. The other face has one of 14 advertisements for organized play programs.

Tokens

The New Phyrexia tokens in numerical order are:
  • Manag.gif 3/3 Beast.
  • Manar.gif 1/1 Goblin, similar to the token from Scars of Mirrodin, but with phyrexianized art to show the compleation of the plane.
  • Manax.gif 3/3 Golem Artifact, similar to the token from Scars of Mirrodin, but with phyrexianized art to show the compleation of the plane.
  • Manax.gif 1/1 Myr Artifact, similar to the token from Scars of Mirrodin, but with phyrexianized art to show the compleation of the plane.
Examples of Phyrexian mana.

Mechanics

New Phyrexia introduces five new mana symbols: A phyrexian symbol on a colored background which can be paid with either 2 life or a colored mana of the background color of the symbol. This mechanic also heralds the return of colored artifacts, previously seen in Future Sight and the Esper shard from Alara block.
The keyword mechanics Infect, Proliferate, Living weapon, Metalcraft and Imprint return while Karn gets a Planeswalker card which is at the same time the first colorless planeswalker card and also has up to that point the largest amount of loyalty counters added by a planeswalker's first ability with +4, and the most costly ultimate ability at -14 loyalty counters.
The set has a small subtheme of splicers, 1/1 creatures that put a certain number of 3/3 Golem artifact creature tokens onto the battlefield and grant abilities to them. Another subtheme is the phrase "1 life", which appears on 10 different cards, with most forcing the opponent to lose 1 life in addition to destroying a permanent.

New Phyrexia has six Cycles:

Justin Bieber Teams with Satan to Fornicate Our Daughters

We all know Satan is constantly looking for ways to fornicate our daughters. Thank goodness our good friend Amber Cooper reminded us of how Satan is using dirty  prom dresses to get our daughters loose and pregnant.

Now if that was not enough to concern us parents right during prom season, we have an all new threat to worry about: Justin Bieber.

Justin Bieber is a new teenage singer who croons to young girls about how they should start dangling their sallies for all to see. This is sick and the type of thing that corrupted Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan to become the devilwhores they is. Let us not forget about Olivia Munn on that game channel, where she uses devil powers to expose herself.

All these young women were corrupted by Satan and now he wants to do the same thing to your daughter. He has improved his game and slyly employed this new Bieber boy to be a ‘teen idol’, so girls will sway around and get worked up, then go let a stranger they met on Myspace have his way with them and lurer young boys.

Ever since this Bieber started singing his songs and girls buying his cds, did you know that there has been a 7% increase in girls talking alone to  strangers on Myspace.  Bieber’s lyrics are directly correlated to girls do this risky behavior.

What’s worse is that as I researched this boy, I find that he is also teaming up with the blacks to do hipped hipped videos, which adds the black culture elements of drug sales, gay lesbian women basketball, gang violence and crack prostitutes to the list of things his music will try to make your daughters “experiment” with.

I’ve seen enough and have written his record label an angry letter warning of boycott if he does not immediately change his ways and do Christian music. I also order all you parents on behalf of God to throw away or set to bonfire to any CDs or magazines that your daughters may have that feature this boy.

This boy is dangerous because he is young and probably has a long Satan tickled career ahead of him. He will keep tricking your daughters into thinking about things their bodies are not programmed to think about (e.g., fornicating boys, lesbian, black culture dangers) and then they will end up diseased and pregnant. This boy is singing songs with blacks thugs named Ludicris of all things, so that should be all the warning you need.

I cannot stress enough how much danger your daughters are in if they listen to this boy’s music. Do your job parents and get it out of her mind and your home! Warning: The following music video contains Satanic lyrics and ploy to fornicate your daughters. Please first pray and then have all women/children immediately leave the room before reviewing.

MTG: Scars of Mirrodin

Scars of Mirrodin is a Magic: The Gathering expansion that was released on October 1, 2010. It is the first set of the Scars of Mirrodin block. This block will mark the return to the plane of Mirrodin. This plane was last visited in the Mirrodin block that concluded in 2004. The interim tagline for the set is "The Corrosion Begins October 1, 2010." The plans for this set were first made public by mananation.com when it was discovered that "Scars of Mirrodin", as well as "Mirrodin Pure" and "New Phyrexia" had been registered as trademarks with the US Patent and Trademark Office by Wizards of the Coast.
As with the original Mirrodin block, artifacts make up the overarching theme of Scars of Mirrodin; Nearly half of all cards in the set are artifacts. In his May 24 column, Mark Rosewater confirmed that the "Infect" game mechanic in Scars of Mirrodin would bring poison counters back to Magic.

Mechanics

Below is the list of mechanics used in Scars of Mirrodin:
  • Infect - A creature with "Infect" deals damage to creatures in the form of -1/-1 counters and to players in the form of poison counters. A player with 10 or more poison counters loses the game.
  • Metalcraft - "Metalcraft" rewards a player for having three or more artifacts in play. Creatures with "Metalcraft," for example, tend to increase in power and toughness and/or gain new abilities they otherwise wouldn't have. Some cards with "Metalcraft" are themselves artifacts, meaning only two more artifacts are needed to activate their Metalcraft abilities.
  • Proliferate - A new keyword action, "Proliferate" allows players to give additional counters to cards and players who already have them. The player chooses which cards or players will get another counter, though the ability is not targeted.
  • Imprint - The only returning keyword from the original Mirrodin block, this keyword allows a player to "imprint" some card on the artifact (removing that card from the game). That artifact's effect depends on the card imprinted (for example you can imprint a creature on Semblance Anvil to reduce costs of spells that share a card type with that card).

PICKLED PLUM
lyric & music by Masamune Kusano

I want to eat pickled plum
I want to eat pickled plum and I'm longing to see you right now
I'm so lonely
I'm so lonely and I'm longing to see you right now

This calculated heart can't be forced out of the frame
I want to decide everything on horoscope
Without knowing I became someone bad
Now only kind words won't be enough

I want to eat pickled plum
I want to eat pickled plum and I'm longing to see you right now

Walking in the puddle with this leaking jackboot
I want to laugh so hard til I cry

Without knowing I became someone bad
Now only kind words won't be enough

I want to eat pickled plum
I want to eat pickled plum and I'm longing to see you right now

Article: Six Things Women Hate About Men

No human being is perfect. There are some bad habits which every human being is indulging in. But these habits should never be out of limits. Also, we develop a dislike with people with certain bad habits. Women, also being human beings have certain dislikes about men and their habits. The following article gives some of the habits which for sure are hated by most women.

Moody men – Women naturally are more emotionally inclined than men. But some are more moody and emotional. One moment they are happy and the very next they become angry beasts. It is very difficult to predict how they would react and behave to situations. Women would never prefer such men.

The alcoholics- Everything needs to be indulged in limits. But some men just never believe in limits. They make drinking a habit and cannot live without it. Women hate men who are not in control. Alcohol addiction will be the first thing that will drive women away from you.

The stalker – Women cannot tolerate men who like to follow them. Women like those who have the guts to approach and talk to them.
